Tailgreeter is a digital marketplace that makes tailgating accessible and easy for fans by helping them join a tailgate with a few clicks. You can think of us as the Airbnb of tailgating. We created a technology platform that allows tailgate hosts to turn their events into a business by providing them with paying customers for something they were already doing. With these tailgates listed in the marketplace, fans are able to search, book a tailgate, and then simply show up and enjoy the experience.

About the role:

You own the strategy, implementation and optimization of all performance marketing campaigns, to help us achieve our aggressive customer growth and financial goals. In this role, you will own our digital strategy, which includes social media marketing, SEO strategy, content creation & strategy, and supporting host and guest acquisition.

Digital Marketing Director Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Evaluate and improve the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  • Execute and measure digital marketing campaigns across all channels: e-mail, paid social, paid search, display and more to generate high-quality leads
  • Responsible for weekly reporting of digital campaigns, website analytics, and business-related KPI’s including MQLs, pipeline and ROI
  • Brainstorm new and creative demand generation strategies
  • Building email campaigns, database selection, create, test and execute emails to generate/nurture leads and support partners/events/ad-hoc
  • Analysis of current email marketing campaigns and making recommendations for improvement
  • Use automation to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Creating campaigns for tracking leads and upload leads with correct tracking in place
  • Analyze lead flow and areas for improvement - report on program results and develop insights on performance
  • Oversee the designs, builds, and maintainenance of our social media presence.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to draw performance-driving insights from complex data
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Curiosity: a natural drive by discovery and innovation, always looking for new test ideas, strategies, new channels, and industry disruption
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
